Ted Kalriess

Founder

Ted Kalriess has decades of experience providing preconstruction and construction services on large, complex projects including mixed use developments, institutional buildings and commercial office buildings. As Project Executive for multiple large general contractors, Ted was responsible for a team of operations personnel and support staff to procure and manage projects ranging up to $50 million annual volume. Ted has been qualified as an expert witness in construction litigation cases in several states.

 

Ted’s area of focus at KCM is: preconstruction estimating, design production drawings, project start-up, oversight of design and project controls during construction.

Debbie Kalriess

Owner, President

Debbie brings extensive leadership and a deep understanding of the construction industry to her role, having taken ownership in 2008 and expertly leading the team. Her multifaceted experience includes prior roles as an Estimator and in Communications and Marketing for KCM, as well as serving as President and Owner of KCM Plaster, where she managed projects and provided design services.

 

Holding LEED AP certification and as a Certified Decorative Plaster Technician, Debbie’s commitment to professional excellence is evident through her diverse background, including studies in architecture and design, which uniquely equips her to guide KCM with exceptional skill and dedication.

Kevin West

Managing Principal

Kevin brings a wealth of experience as a seasoned Construction Manager, adept at delivering large-scale, complex commercial projects. Having directly managed numerous projects exceeding $100 million in both general contractor and Owner’s Representative capacities, Kevin offers invaluable expertise from project inception through completion.

 

At KCM, he serves as the primary point of contact and daily liaison during the construction phase, while also contributing his insights during preconstruction for crucial job setup and early field work.

Scott Shatrowsky

Principal

Scott brings a strong history of success and expertise to his role in construction management. He has been with KCM for a decade, specializing in complex multifamily affordable and mixed-use developments. His expertise encompasses a wide range of project management responsibilities, including field coordination, regulatory liaison, permitting and utility coordination.

 

Mr. Shatrowsky adeptly leads efforts in implementing value engineering strategies, obtaining necessary building permits and regulatory approvals and overseeing contract management.
