Gilliam Place provides 173 each 100% affordable housing units with the first floor reserved for mixed-use commercial spaces and leasing offices. The project was designed and ultimately achieved Earthcraft Platinum certification.
KCM provided preconstruction services including Conceptual Estimating, Value Engineering and construction staging/planning early in design, then managed the design/construction/turnover process for Arlington Partnership for Affordable Housing. The project entailed relocating the existing Funshine Daycare prior to demolition, and includes new space for Arlington Presbyterian Church who resided on this site since the early 1900’s.
Construction contract award amount/final amount:$39.2Million/$41.3Million
KCM has provided value engineering, design and vendor coordination, from conception through construction completion.
